Heather - Lissa Marsolek
Heather Cowden, a Doctor of Optometry, is new to the site. Although she has always immersed herself in the sciences and enjoys the clinical care setting, she recalls declaring as a young child that she wanted to be an author. Throughout her nearly 14 years of optometric practice, Heather has achieved that goal, writing feature articles for college publications and women's magazines, as well as contributing professional articles to such publications as "Review of Optometry" and "Primary Care Optometry News." She has also occasionally lectured within her profession at national optometric continuing education meetings.
